My favorite things to do in mfs:
#1 = is trim the nose up and flaps to max and try to find right engine power to try to break my stable low speed record. Try to fly as low speed as possible while maintaining as low as possible altitude. On any aircraft. The standard fighter jet I was able to fly 100 knots stable above the ground/houses/trees. With high degree of nose trim up.
#2 = Second most fun thing to do is fly my jet right in front of an airbus. or right next to it. especially if it’s a player. I try to show my jet exhausts fire up in front of their nose so they can see it outside their cockpit window. But this is definitely the most difficult thing to do. Especially if they change direction or speed. To stay close in front of them.
In air colisions don’t exist in the game. If you fly too close the aircraft will visually dissapear for both players. My original idea was to land safely on top of an airbus.
hahaha
#3 = Another fun thing to do is to fly airbus as slow as possible. And try to break landing distance or runway used record. So for example your aircraft stops at 4 lights on the run way. Or befofe the 3rd light. And you can look back in the external view camera how many lights you past on the runway. And how far you are to the next ground light.
#4 = Another fun thing to do. Is to take off in one direction of the runway and land as fast as possible on the same runway but the opposite direction. And time it with a stopwatch. And try to do it faster. Especially fun with the big 4 engine airbus.
#5 = try to land without landing gears.
it helps if you map camera controls filter:all slewmode to b+x
to quickly set up the aircraft in any position you want it to be.

Hi @twintwix1234,
This is a fun topic! I’ve moved this into the General Discussion category.

#6 = Another fun thing to do is a vortexual vertical landing above one side of the runway, from high altitude going down vertically in vortexual motion and then land using as little runway as possible.
#7 = Crazy high speed landing records, without overriding the runway. As high speed as possible while staying on the runway and not exceed it.

Try this:
Start on an overcrowded airport in a small aerobatic capable airplane.
Accelerate in the ground effect.
Make half of a loop.
Travel back the runway, upside down.
Complete the loop, and land.
I am still trying …

Sounds fun! thanks for sharing. What do you mean by accelerate in the ground effect?

Ya’ do not know the ground effect?
Let me explain ya:
Every AC generates more lift when near to the ground.
Rule of thumb:
In a height above the ground not more than half the wingspan of your AC the ground effect is in effect.
You can level your AC, have less drag and accelerate faster.
Obvious that AC with the wings at the bottom have more success than planes with the wings above the fuselage.

We all have been newbies some day ago
Just in case you understand german language (this guy describes it very good):

My favorite is slewing to the edge of space in planes that have no business near the Karmen line and seeing how far i can go in any direction. Sometimes i’ll remove fuel and see where gliding gets me.
Especially with FSRealistic loaded it’s kind of fun listening to the people scream and your pilot guy go “oooohhh ssshhhhhiiiiiiii…”

Start parked at an airport, C&D, use slew mode to get to altitude, maybe also at a silly attitude/configuration, exit slew mode and land. Extra points for not spilling any drinks.

Hopefully it wasn’t you flying across and under my nose on ILS final approach yesterday. The TCAS forced my A320 to climb and gain speed well above profile. Really I should have gone around but instead I dived with speedbrakes on and got it under control just in time to land. Would have scared the life out of the passengers and gotten me into trouble with the chief pilot I’m sure.
I’m sure it wasn’t you, plenty of others out there deliberately getting in the way.
Flying alongside is all fine, nice to have company to wave at sometimes.

Literally do all flights in TA mode only now for this very reason

Yeah maybe a solution, it’s unfortunate that we need to though. I’m all for having fun and it’s a sim so crazy stuff is cool, but intentionally annoying other users is never cool.

This is exactly the reason why msfs needs a block player feature.

one exists. You just turn off live multiplayer
