Mount Washington is the highest point in the Northeastern US region, with recorded wind speeds of up to 231mph / 372 kmh - the highest recorded values outside of a hurricane/cyclone. In the winter, the summit observatory can be found coated with inches thick ice all around. I passed over the Cog Railway that was the world’s first, in existence since 1869.
Nice little hop from Berlin NH to Mt. Washington with a recovery on Rwy 28 just as the sun sets.
