The last post about this is from 2 years ago so I’ll ask again!
When I’m holding down the right mouse button to look around the cockpit or zoom into instruments, I’m frequently engaging with the instruments by accident. For instance, if my mouse pointer happens to be near the trim wheel and I use the mouse wheel to zoom in, it instead spins the trim wheel.
If my mouse is hovering over a MFD button when I push the right mouse button to start Mouse Look or zooming, it’ll push that button.
Is there a fix or workaround for this? Basically I want it that when I’m zooming and panning around the cockpit in Mouse Look mode, it’s “locked out” so it won’t accidentally push anything or move any dial.
Yeah, that’s what I have been doing too and it’s super awkward. Especially when there’s a minor bump or turbulence and your mouse pointer stays but the graphics change, and as I said now your mouse zoom is screwing with the trim wheel. That of course ALWAYS happens when you’re on approach and looking around the cockpit trying to find the landing gear or landing lights button… and now you’re untrimmed and your approach is ruined because you just happened to have the mouse over the wrong spot when you zoomed in to make sure you were hitting the right button. Super frustrating.
