After the latest update my mouse will not click (Actuate) a switch or dial while on the Main Screen of a triple screen setup. The main Screen is the Center and the Left is Window 1 and the Right is Window 2. If I pan the view to either Window 1 or 2 I can actuate the switch but not when the Center Window is in Focus.
If I delete Windows 1 & 2 leaving only the Main Display Mouse control returns to the Main Screen.
Update: added windows 1 & 2 back and the mouse works again. Thanks to PMDG I have most of my hardware bindings setup so very little interaction required by the mouse. This is still a bug that should be checked.
have you tried alt+tab (maybe twice) to regain focus?
I’m finding this too, although I haven’t experimented with different aircraft to see if it affects all of them.
On the JF Turbo Arrow (my go-to aircraft), the control hotspots are displaced to the right by about 10mm. If you can find the sweet spot, you can actuate the control, but it is a complete PITA.
My main 28" monitor is running in 4k 3840 x 2160 with the side screens (21" monitors) both 1920 x 1080; I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
OK, I just tried setting up the three screens again, and everything seemed hunky-dory in the Piper Turbo arrow 3. Main monitor running in 4k 3840 side screens in 1920, settings mostly on high with my RTX 3060ti, Super DLSS on, and I was getting 36fps generally.
I don’t know what was going on last time, but whatever it was, it seems to be resolved now.
Glad to hear all is well again. Did you use Russ Barlow’s video to help you align the screens and seating position?
I’ve looked at that; my screens are at about 60 degrees, not 90 so it’s not perfect. The main monitor is 28" and the sides are 24", which doesn’t help either. But just setting up the side screens with default settings, the landscape matches fairly well. The cockpit could do with some tweaking, but I don’t think you’re ever going to get everything perfect, it really depends a lot on your viewing angle. Flying straight and level is pretty good, but as soon as you get into any steep turns, the side screens go a bit AWOL.
Every time I try to adjust the side screens now I get a full CTD.
