Hello everyone,
In msfs2024, whatever the aircraft used, I cannot get the mouse to work properly to travel stably in the cockpit. The mouse agrees to move in the direction I assign it but it immediately returns to the initial view (forward). For example, it is impossible to focus on the overhead panel to start a (cold and dark) start of the A320. It is also impossible to look to the side during a basic step… My question: is it possible to prevent the view from systematically returning to the front or is it due to a new philosophy of the 2024 simulator???
Do you have cockpit camera movement connected to a hat switch on your joystick? If so, add a dead zone to it or delete the binding.
Thank you for this suggestion but unfortunately, I tested your 2 proposals and the same problem occurs. The problem is therefore not solved
Solved!!!
It is in the “general/camera/cockpit/free view” setting that you must select “switch”.
Everything is OK !!
Open the camera settings from the toolbar, there is a setting there something with MANUAL or AUTO. I think one of these might be set wrong.
Sorry, too quick, I see it is already solved ![]()
I believe I’m experiencing the same issue. When I touch the mouse, the camera starts spinning uncontrollably. I’ve tried the suggested solution marked as ‘solved,’ but it didn’t work.
