:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue:

Cyperpower PC standard mouse is impossible to properly bind. Even simple actions – look up, down, left, right, zoom – do not seem to work. I have spent hours deleting every single binding to start fresh, and still I either can’t move, can’t zoom/unzoom, or the camera spins. This is insane. MSFS 2020 had no issues with the mouse at all, straight out of the box, but 2024 is an absolute nightmare. Way too many binding options as well. It’s just a &&* mouse.

  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

No community mods.

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

In external mode, can either move and not zoom, or zoom and not move. In the cockpit, the camera just spins. And I can look, but not to the left. Ever.

• Cannot activate SPEED HDG or ALT (Orange dot on the right) with the mouse on Airbus A320 MSFS 2024

Hi,

Since posting, I was able to find a solution by: a) using a pre-set mouse profile that doesn’t work at all when inside cockpit, but lets me zoom in/out in external view (though I have to use keyboard to move around, look up/down, etc.), and b) using another mouse profile that I completely cleared of bindings, then set basic cockpit things, like looking around, zooming, pressing buttons, moving dials, etc. Not ideal, but a workaround while I try to figure out why one mouse profile can’t do everything, as it did in MSFS2020. Thx.

My mouse works with basic game menus, etc but will not activate any buttons/switches/controls on the aircraft panel. The buttons light up with the mouse instructions but nothing happens when I click the corresponding mouse button. As far as I can tell I have no mouse bindings under the default mouse 2024 transversal config and that is the only selection available. This is true for all aircraft I have tested but primarily on the Cessna 172 g1000 stock aricraft.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Any luck with this? I have been jumping between my controller and velocity one. kind of a pain in the ■■■.

I had the same issue. Depending of your hardware, it was caused by a setting in my joystick. This video helped me solving the issue with the mouse: https://youtu.be/hKbEzgDExUo?si=N_tkqhVZwJbWEMNa
