I find it very clumsy and annoying to have to use the mouse to look around while flying. It seems the hat button only allows you to quickly jump to a right or left quick view along the wing. Could you please switch or add the hat function to a left or right and up or down slow pan that stops as soon as you release the button and holds that spot?
I struggle with this as well it would be nice to use the joystick hat to look around.
You can, a quick look at the camera options would of solved this, Specifically the cockpit camera options and add the hat direction to what direction you want to look (cockpit look down etc.) and it will pan rather than quick look. You can do the same for the view outside the plane as well.
thanks, i’ll give it a try, where do I find camera views? Under controls, or general graphics?
but watch out settings for left forward and left back view are reversed, ie. you make the logical setting in options, go into flight put the hat button to look left front side but it looks left back side.
Solution of course it to just set the keys in options with this in mind. Funny because right side settings are correct, the left is just bassakwards.
Got it thanks, I set them backwards like you said, then had to redo them lol. Also, I had trouble finding them until I switched from “assigned” to “All”
