Might just be me, but it’s buggy as hell is now, was fine pre-Japan, now works in some planes, works in others, then goes totally FUBAR and MIA all over the shop 
I was loving this, dunno what’s happened? Too many bugs and too many systems to resolve I guess, seem like I now have the situation when I had an Amiga and PC’s were death for us gamers, and all about 30 years ago…

It seems like we’re all getting very random results. I for one haven’t had a single CTD or experienced what you’ve described in your post. It all makes it very difficult for Asobo to diagnose the issues.
Surely a roll-back to the previous version is a better starting point for them, than trying to fix what only some people are describing?
On-topic, do you run any additional mouse/keyboard software?
Try going to camera options in tool bar and make sure its on freelook but set it back and forth between locked a free a few times and leave it on whatever you like,
