Oh he’ll be happy; an RTX 3070 matched with an 3700X will play just about every game on the market 1440p with full settings. No system on the market can play FS2020 at full settings.

I agree, especially if many scenery addons…just like every simulator I have known 
You ordered a 550W; which will work fine with the low power draw of the 3700X. Had you gotten a 10700k or 10900k, the Dell rep should have made you buy an 650w power supply.
I guess we’ll have to wait a couple of years to have a rig that runs it at full options
An RTX 2080/3070 and an 5600X or 10700 will play with max settings 1440p or 4k, but depending on the location, the sutters are just rediculous. When the stutters are not there FS2020 is simply impressive.
