I’ve noticed this on most flights when “cleared to land runway xx”, the AI copilot requests a desntination change to the same airport. I’m told to contact approach/departure (don’t remember which) and they give me a heading, altitude, and transponder code (which is the same as the current one). If I follow ATC instructions, I am resequenced into the approach. If I don’t follow instructions, I go into a conversation loop between the AI copilot and ATC. Since I am close to landing. I am told to contact tower on xxx.xx. The AI copilot changes frequencies and contacts the tower who gives me a new landing clearance. The AI copilot requests a destination change to the current airport and the loop is repeated over and over. (Note: this does not happen using FS2020.)
