MS World Simulator for All Simmers

I’ve been a flight simmer since the 90s and also enjoyed playing the early versions of the sims. I have friends that use Farming Simulator and Trucking Simulator. Now there is even a Mowing Simulator.

I think the next step for MS is to create one big sim that contains all of these simulators in one. One of your friends could be a farmer, the other a trucker, and you a pilot. All three could work together to complete task. If you’re a pilot you could spray crops for your sim farmer buddy. If nothing else it would bring different simmer types together for one big experience.

Just a thought, but I figured I’d put it out there.

Happy Flying!

LOL I though I was the only one with this sick thought. I was kind of hoping this would go something like this,
Welcome to MS World simulator inside you find a perfectly modeled world. We have included MS bike simulator, and MS car simulator to get you started. Stay tuned for our up and coming releases:
Train Simulator
Transport Simulator
Flight Simulator
Boating Simulator
etc…

I had been hoping this would of gone in this direction with the new version instead of what we got. ;p

That would be really nice indeed. But we are from something like this, at least far from something that could be called a simulator. Perhaps in 10 or 20 years…

It would definitely be like the dream sim, Imagine how cool it would be to start at your house, drive to the airport, pick up a cup of coffee at the restaurant at the airport, hop in your plane then fly. Could even simulate transporting goods, drive a truck with goods to the airport and load it into your plane and so on.

And then after all the missions are completed, fire up the powerwashing simulator and clean all the vehicles!

Nice idea, but a project like this requires new technology and a huge jump in processing power, to realize. 90% of the worlds pc users are on low to midrange hardware, so this will maybe be feasible in 2 decades from now. I even see projects like this one working with musks neuralink, so that maybe one day we can even ‘feel’ the forces inside the sim.

I had exactly the same thought on another forum.

Like others have said this requires next level processing power and needs to be designed from the ground up. Imagine laying down accurate railway lines for every country on Earth.

We might just see such a game in the distant future. Who knows - a rival to Microsoft might come out with a surprise “World Simulator” reveal at a future games show.

If you believe some theories, it already exists and we’re living in it…

Well, there’s a world simulator called Outerra. Simulates the whole world and you can fly planes, drive cars and ships, tanks, harvesters, walk and so on. It’s still in alpha stage but they have a free demo in which you can explore the whole earth.

No serious man believes that theory unless his name is Elon. :grinning:

Yeah suggested this before.

Ships should not be to difficult. Port addons instead of airfields.

Wonder why no ship has been made yet for the fun of it ( we have float planes … so a ship model should work ) … we even have cars

Would be grat to move around a huge tanker bridge.

Asobo is thinking of adding tides … so would be great !! Also thinking …. Why are they adding tides in a flightsim ??? So perhaps they planned the combined sim from the start :tada:

And then after everything is done , Go home and have a wife simulator and get into an argument about dinner and then use the sleep simulator for a fitful nights sleep

My idea exactly, take for example the well-known Truck Simulator, it will take them the coming 20 years to only cover the US.

Imagine FS2020 saying, hey guys, in 20 years you can fly across the US. People would go insane, but for a truck simulator people accept it and happily pay twice a year for 2 DLC states a year that cover a few roads and cities.

Tractors and trucks?

No good without a decent flight, I mean road, model and a correctly working autopilot.

Microsoft Combat Simulator…

Accurate railways across the world Microsoft already had when they worked on MS Train Simulator 2 which they canned a couple years ago but the groundwork already exist, I actually hope they give the reigns to Asobo for that too so we get a world covered Train Simulator like they had planned, to think of it I think it also used the same tech this Flight Sim uses.
