Opening scene in the Video, using the fancy FULL Motion Cockpit, and he is flying, and taking off using the “outside View” (sigh)
“Looks” very Cool, I would not say no to one, but I suspect that after a time, the novelty ears off, and you start to realize, that what you feel, is not that realistic, expecially as far as G forces are Concerned.
Out of interest, what the Total damage ( $$$s) for that setup ??
I have a bridge for sale ( in London ) … whose interested ???

Thanks so much for your comment. I tryed to make a cool intro! I’m flying for 7 years and I have never get bored.
In my opinion the G forces are quite good, because it’s a 2 motors system, but it simulates perfectly.
The price of this one is about 3.500 €, then you have to buy the GameSeat (mine is about 265 €). I already had the Saitek Flight Hardware.
I just selled an old car that I don’t use, and that money went direct to this motion platform. Sometimes we have a lot of money in things that we already are not expected to use anymore.

No, the monitor and the peripherals were mine before buying this platform. But the platform is ready for most of the Flight hardware.

Maybe won’t be on such a nice module, but I consider my next flight would be LEMD-LEBL.

I just don’t think, that it is correct, that in a coordinated left turn, you lean to the left.
In a coordinated turn, your body is still only subject to a straight downforce in relation to your body.

Exactly – so not even Multi Million dollar Flight Simulators can reproduce the correct G forces.
Ironically, it may be more realistic, as far as forces are concerned, to be in a non-motion simulator, when in a co-ordinated turn. !!

Yes, look at the first take off. It’s from the cockpit. But with the external camera it’s easyest to see how the plane is moving to compare with the platform movement. Regards!

They are mostly on Racing Simulation world, this is a prototype but it’s quite well done!
I would like to try in a more scenic sight trip with a small plane like Cessna 172 or something like that. I feel that sensations are so diferent between smalls aircrafts and Airlines.
I’ve asked Santa one for christmas but my wife doesn’t agree…

Does this thing have any Transducers for vibration and sim events or does it just move.
