I don’t get disappointed in the sim tbh, I’m too old for that kind of stuff now and I know most games disappoint :rofl:.

While I expect that many of these issues will be resolved when the marketplace is released, I’m also realistic enough to know that may not be the case. It just sounds like the marketplace isn’t coming for awhile based on what was on the previous Dev stream said and it also sounded like it was due to the compatibility issues.

Either way I’ll be ready for it once the issues are fixed.

Hard to tell. The marketplace itself seems to be up and running in internal testing. A glitch on Sunday sent me into it for a while.
But if there are issues with the content itself, it could take a while before it releases.

I have heard Jan / Fed for the MP to become active …so am expecting it to be Mar / Apr! :wink:

does anyone know if any of the content streamed puts files locally, i seem to see some folders, but not all the ones that i enabled that were 2020 versions (ie: scenery), at this spot Microsoft.LimitlessBeta_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\StreamedPackages

Maybe theres another somewhere? Or some just dont put local folder/place holders?

Yes. I’m looking at that location now and I see folders for my enabled FS2020 Marketplace content. However, the files seem to be very small.

The Jan / Feb timescale was mentioned in a group flight I was in a few weeks back, so nothing official …maybe they were just guessing to! …but guess it’s not going to be earlier!

i was hoping the streamed ones could somehow show up in ms addon linker to make for easier tracking, but i guess not. (not necessarily ability to disable just track worst case)

that wouldn’t help xbox users tho. make solution for everyone is ideal. and for me, I made a tracker sheet manually but it’s tedious to update since Msobo keeps turning off things that were one ON

yeah i did the same type of thing, i put all ms store items in a spreadsheet so i could remember what i had and where to try flying next (or if it was disabled)

yet another week and still no new 2020 transfer notification. still missing around 20 items. what they heck are they doing?

Try to look at the positive beautiful righteous things in life, you’re always here with the negative waves.

The sun will rise tomorrow, MSFS 2020 still has all of your old content, and MSFS 2024’s issues will settle with time.

It’s all groovy.

It’ll be cool, these things take time. MSFS 2020 took time, FSX took time, FS2004 took time. It’ll shake out.

Pretty strange. They had a nice pace in december before the holidays. Now nothing for… a month? :thinking:

Addons with issues will logically take a while, and requires actions by the dev. But even addons where the dev has written in the marketplace description that the addon works in 2020+2024 are still absent i 2024.

well what is also annoying is some add ons worked fine and were available, but now Msobo disabled them again. what gives

What tickles me is that JustFlight’s RJ is MSFS2024 compatible but it’s not available, where the BAe-146 and Fokker F28 are both live. Bizarre. But we’ll get there
