MSFS 2020 is on offline mode for me this evening as it was yesterday. I tend to fly around 10pm UK time (5pm Eastern US) and it appears that there is no access to the MSFS servers at this time, well for me at least. Is anyone else having issues in the UK.

I haven’t tried tonight, but i was ok last night. Who is your isp? I’m with vodafone and haven’t seen any issues.

Added tag & amended title to reflect the issue is with MSFS 2020. Moved to User Support Hub
Have you tried some basic things like simply restarting your router, making sure your ISP is not reporting any outages, there’s also a xbox server status page somewhere to check.

MSFS 2020 seems to have been deleted from my PC?
The PC boot-up was normal, I started MSFS2020, no errors, and was about to select departure/arrival airports when the PC totally crashed and tried to perform a restart. It continued to fail to boot until I powered down and re-started. I verified the drives (surface scan/optimization) and they were ok.
Everything worked per normal i.e. Browser, file explorer, etc.
I tried to start MSFS2020 again and got the attached message.
The file structure remains but not accessible?? see second screen capture.
The “files” in your image are only links, so MSFS must be installed somewhere else and that somewhere else must have become invisible to Windows, either because you moved/deleted the MSFS folder, the device holding the files has failed, or it has been removed from the computer.

a few hours have passed… re-installed MSFS2020 and now only get CTDs… enough for one day! I’ll look at this tomorrow…
UPDATE: after being prompted to start the game in Safe/Normal mode several times and resulting in constant CTDs, the game finally decided to load up ok!
A follow-up flight proved successful.
I do not know what happened or what caused these issues…??
Could MSFS2024 patches/fixes affected MSFS2020?
i noticed some updates to xbox and gaming services last night, could they have been trying to update in the background when you were trying to fly?
That could have been it. It sure gets frustrating at times; the sim works perfectly for months and, out of the blue, crashes for no apparent reason.
