I often have the problem that I lose a lot of power on the ground.
When I’m at the airport I often have 80 to 100 FPS at the beginning… After I start FSLTL and other programs, I usually get 60-70 FPS with Frame Gen Mod.
Here I observe GPU power, which is often 320 to 350 watts… So far everything is fine.
At some point, however, it loses performance and often gets below 30 FPS. The GPU power is then always around 200 watts and it simply doesn’t go up anymore.
I was able to observe this in KMIA today… I tried it twice and there were problems.
But on the third try, it worked.
So it’s not that I don’t have enough performance or that my settings are too high… The problem is simply that the performance simply disappears.
My hardware:
AMD 5800X3D
32GB RAM
RTX 3080 12GB FG Mod
My settings are also set to Moderate and are not set to Ultra.
As I said, I normally have power and everything is smooth… But at some point, it loses performance… I always see that in the GPU power when it drops below 250w.
What I find strange is that it’s not always like that.
In KMIA I was able to start without any problems after the third attempt
