Hello everyone, so i recently purchase the new MYNN v2 scenery from Sierra Sim through flightsim.to. Now although it says on the flightsim.to website that version is only compatible with FS2024 every person i’ve talked to that has that same scenery from that same seller it works fine for them on 2020. I’ve tried installing it and uninstalling it, i’ve tried changing my username during the install, i’ve tried clearing scenery indexes, and i’ve tried it with only the airport in the ‘community’ folder. I have had zero luck so far and im starting to think it’s just not gonna work for me… Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you ladies and gents.
There are two distinct versions - one for MSFS and one for FS2024. It may well be that the one for '24 does not work in the 2020 sim. Here’s the link to the 2020 version:

If you’re running MSFS but bought the 2024 version, you can try asking for a refund or download of the correct version, since they’re the same price.
No - there’s only three possible scenarios:
- FS2020 only - any use in 2024 has noticeable errors.
- FS2024 only - and that is a hard line that 2020 backwards compatibility isn’t supported - making it 2024 native means using the sim-specific SDK, which has things that either break or don’t exist inside FS2020.
- FS2020/2024 compatible - this comes with a big disclaimer - it’s more likely it’s an FS2020 base product, and the vendor tested it 2024 and it has acceptable performance/appearance.
If there’s two distinct products, then the vendor has taken the time to either rebuild or recompile the 2020 version in the 2024 SDK to optimize for the new sim.
