The great Xbox Showcase Trailer showed some additional Planes. Are these aircraft going to be official asobo stuff or 3rd Party Planes? (A400, Sikorsky skycrane and the A-10)
At the moment it’s a total guessing game. I think it’s safe to assume the A-10 is DC Designs though considering the comments made on their Facebook page a couple of months ago. So it’s probably safe to assume a lot of these aircraft are third party developments.
Hi there,
There is a new MSFS 2024 subcategory. Please use that for all of your MSFS 2024 discussion. I have moved your thread. Thank you.
For me, it also looks like many (all?) of the aircraft shown are existing or upcoming third party add-ons. Maybe they just want to tell us that those will be available and they will be usable for the new missions?
hpg → hot air balloons
hpg has just recently anounced the 747 super tanker. if they knew that fs24 is coming, it would explain why they started to develop it
I’m expecting that the Twin Otter will be included as one of the default planes. It was removed from the Marketplace and Aerosoft said that it will return to the sim in some format. They were deliberately vague, and now I imagine it was because of NDA.
I expect that the Belluga will be IniBuilds port to MSFS.
I expect that Orbx will probably be doing the skydiving and crop dusting planes. Why? They released the P-750 with skydive and agricultural variants. They also stated that the P-750 will be an expanding release with missions to come. Well, now that sounds vaguely familiar to the promo we saw, which means they can work parallel efforts.
There are other developers with addons that we saw the same models in the promo, but I wouldn’t venture to guess on those. GotFriends has already confirmed the Jetson One seen in the promo is not their work.
The TBM shown in the promo had all its doors and cargo bays open.
But if it is seeming that Orbx, IniBuilds, and Aerosoft perhaps supplying default aircraft (or maybe these will only come in the Premium or Deluxe packs) it appears that there is an effort to out the gate providing aircraft that is better than current default aircraft.
