A simple matter of accountability at the top of the leadership team. We all know that’s it a no brainer to test the aircraft in varying light conditions. So that clearly was done by competent technical staff. This is a leadership decision, and it demands a discussion regarding accountability as it’s Microsoft’s reputation being impacted. No doubt this will be fixed in the coming weeks … but we should continue to ask the question about accountability. I have not heard an adequate explanation, and this light situation is a simple and high profile case to use for leadership dialog.
