MSFS 2024 disastrous release puts me near quitting sim flying

I’m still waiting for the “I change the units of the EFB and some of them reset to default after restarting the sim” bugfix

Also, the glider launch system is bugged for me, the guy on the left doesn’t appear so I’m stuck even if I push full left-right rudder.
I tried deleting everything, even the appdata stuff, reinstalling the sim, only worked the 1st time, then the bug kicks in again.

2024 is so broken, even months after release :man_facepalming: :pensive_face:

All gliders work well for me …and all launch methods.

Are you selecting the launch method you want (in config) before starting the flight?

Two of my favorite sayings from working in IS for 30 years:

  1. Never go to version n.0. Version n.3 is best.
  2. Pioneers are those people with arrows in their backs.

Yep, tried with all of them.

I even tried to do a clean reinstall because I read other user on the forums having the same problem.

Also tried with empty comunity folder

After a disappointing start (understatement), it is great to see so much improvement in MSFS2024. Many bugs were addressed, and some items from the wishlist included.
I am taking the Beta releases and with each release it is getting better. No CTD, lots of eye-candy and smooth FPS consistently in the 60 frames/second range.
Well done to the developers for their continued working to fix MSFS2024.
