I only could use it by pressing first the record/stop button, but what if I just want to to replay my takeoff / landing (the last 30 seconds for example). Do I always have to previously press the start recording button ?
I saw an instant replay option but still it seems you also have to press the record button first.

For all Xbox pilots, this is the first time we can do something like that on console. I really want to share my gratitude for the author of this great tool. Thank you. :heart:

I think it’s overly complicated. Of course it’s nice being able to rewind and retake control, but a simple option that just records the position and optical state of planes and objects without re-simulating all the systems would benefit me much more. It would also be less buggy with complex planes like the Fenix.

Love it. There’s room for improvment ( pretty much like any aspect of the sim ), but it’s great and a dream for many Xbox pilots. Bravissimo, davvero.

Hi, I have 2 monitors one for the sim and the other for different panels such as ATC, EFB, etc…

I’m trying to move FCR included in MSFS 2024, but every time the panel is minimized. I have to disable it and re-enable it with the toolbar, but it still stays in my monitor #1.

Is there something I’m not doing correctly.

I have a similar issue - when I try to pop out the window to move to anotehr screen, the window disappears. It’s still highlighted on the menu bar, so the sim thinks it’s open, but it’s invisible. It did work for me for a bit, but I think I may have returned to the main menu with the window still popped out and now it won’t come back.

Whenever I try to use the replay tool it works once for recording, but if i minimize it and then
bring it back the screen is black. Also when I try to use AIplay, I don’t see the aircraft spawn.
Any suggestions?

It’s great that it’s embedded now, and you don’t have to go into options every time you start the sim to activate the replay tool. It is still buggy though.

  • It either doesn’t record, or replay every action. Nose gear steering, or steering with any wheel for that matter, doesn’t show.
  • It doesn’t show blade coning animation on helicopters
  • It sometimes pops up minimized and is finicky to get it back to maximize
  • It conflicts with input devices causing the controls to twitch constantly in the replay
  • not the replay tool’s fault, but if you exit VR the toolbar can’t be accessed so you can’t watch the replay after a VR flight. You have to save the replay then reload the flight to get the tool bar back.
  • sometimes the replay won’t start the aircraft and it will fly around not running

Unfortunatelly when you happen this (a window manager error ) you need close the window and reopen :pray:

yep. It’s really finicky/buggy. It shouldn’t be this hard to use. When this happens to me, I have to click the center option (maximize) then close the FCR window, then reopen it from the toolbar and it will be maximized…

then, if I close the FCR window, it will reopen on it’s own when I hide the toolbar.
