MSFS 2024 has Wrong Account Permissions Name and installation folder Name In Steam

When Linking Xbox account to steam, it shows That the app name requiring permissions is (Limitless) with couple of numbers. in steam installation folder, the folder called (Limitless) only without numbers. In AppData\Roaming Folder, The Sim is using the correct name, (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024).

Scary stuff.

Absolute shambles of a release.

First I waited on the Connect To Xbox Network for an hour thinking it was loading because there is a spinning thing and no mouse cursor.

Then when someone on avsim said they did the same thing hut used AlT ENTER to get a mouse back I clicked through and tried to login but it just sends me an inifinte loop around and around loging in to Xbox again and again, back to it connecting to network.

I am steam like you and I think its something to do with this same issue as I got some strange limitless popup in authenticator but allowing it still doesnt work.

Shocking level of testing and how ridiculous of me preordering this mess, worse than 2020.

Update: The issue still exists, and its not from steam side. its from Microsoft’s. i thought the error due to corrupt data being sent from servers when the sim launched, but when i reinstalled the sim after today’s dev stream that in it we were advised to reinstall to resolve any existing corrupt data issues, this issue still exists, even after the devs have changed the message that appears to steam users when linking their accounts in a previous patch.
