This article may be some help:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/marketplace-issue-another-transaction-is-pending/612421/1
These standard tips are absolutely no help to me. Iāve really tried everything. I even contacted support and received one of those useless, canned email responses.
I built a brand-new, high-end PC specifically for the flight simulator, yet after just two weeksāand the first update for MSFS 2024āIām getting this āSomething went wrongā¦ā error message. I certainly wonāt be reinstalling the simulator, and Iāll be steering clear of Marketplace purchases from now on. Unfortunately, thereās no way to hide that section completely within the simulator itself.
Iām using the Xbox app, and it was broken for me, but using Cloudflareās 1.1.1.1 fixed the issue
Been there myself eventually MS support just dropped me and I have neard nothing since. I managed to buy on the Marketplace using Paypal - and incidentally same CC as that which would not be recognised in store. There is an issue there, but no idea what.
I see for several months that a kot of people have the same problem to purchase add-ons on the marketplace.
Instead of giving complicate technical solution, I think that a new procedure to purchase more simply would be the best solution like it is the case on the editors of add-ons site.
I really donāt understand why Microsoft has built a so complex procedure !!
They must consider the loss of sales they miss with such a āGas stationā; ridiculous !!!
What happens when you try to purchase something?
For me, it is an error message saying that the browser is not compatible with 3D-secure authentification.
Edit : I did not have any problem with 2020 MP.
When I try to buy an add-on, at the payment stage, a white window appear and disappear immediately.
Is this postās solution any help to you:
Does it work if you change to a different browser?
No. None of the zendesk suggestions worked. And xbox support finally closed my ticket as āsolvedā. But solved it was not.
I will have a new upgraded PC next week. I will see if I still have the same problem.
Keep us up to date!
Did you try these solutions?
1 - an outdated browser version,
2- active pop-up blockers,
3- strict privacy extensions,
4- old cache data
5- add the merchantās payment page to your allowed list
6- in settings - network and internet activate PUBLIC or Private if you have the other and see if it works
7- Delete and then āresetā personal settings in the Advanced internet options control panel
Thank you for the suggestions.
I remember that I have checked some of these but I do not remember all I tried.
Msfs Marketplace is the only online store where I cannot make a purchase.
I just buy in 3rd party stores but the problem arises when a dev goes Marketplace-onlyā¦
