YES i know how to use discord and i use it on xbox, you obviously just dont want to hear any other suggestions. next time your in an airplane ask the pilot if he has to discord chat with ATC?

Go sit on the apron of Wittman Regional (KOSH) right now. It’s the reason I almost never turn multiplayer on.

You can see when other Wb-Sim planes, have animations, ie Tie down, Chocks, broken prop, broken landing gear, door & windows opening, on fire & smoking etc etc
That’s why you should be able to block/mute them. Works in any other online environment, even this forum
I don’t think so - only a few external lights and controls settings are hard-coded to be communicated in multiplayer by MSFS. WB-sim probably do the same thing I do, which is to fake out MSFS by encoding information I want to communicate into one of the few things MSFS understands (like Landing Lights on/off) e.g. water ballast dumping is major for gliders.
Of course given a computer and time, you can program anything yourself, so yes, anything is " already possible" but that’s not SDK support in MSFS.

Group multiplayer 2020 with 2024? Will those staying on 2020 for a while be able to fly group multiplayer events with those who have already upgraded ?
and… Asobo have recently broken the limited multiplayer support via the external light simvars in MSFS 2020, so the one workaround we’ve relied on has just gone backwards with no properly developed solution to replace it.
Microsoft/Asobo are holding one of the most recognised AAA titles in the industry and you’d think the ethos would be “What would great multiplayer support look like”. It really is mystifying that multiplayer doesn’t even seem to be recognised as a feature in the game so the support is slowly decaying from the few lines of code the FSX developers put in there.
