I just requested and was granted a refund on Steam, even with over 15 hours of “playing” time. However, I did not request a refund because of server problems. Although MSAsobo should have known about (or was fully aware of) the potential problems of releasing as they did, I knew (as I stated above) that after a few days of being upset about the lack of access, that I would eventually fall in line and move on with 2024.
But I was able to get in late last night and today, and what I saw wasn’t pleasing at all. It’s hard to believe that the UI could be a step backwards, but it is. Just the simple process of selecting a plane is awkward, and the process of setting up peripherals bothered me too. But the kicker was that when I finally got into the air, I didn’t see this incredible impressive awesome hard-to-believe improvement over 2020. The hype machine was cranked up to 11 for this release, and I fell for it.
I went for the Aviator package, but when I eventually do buy 2024 again, I’ll definitely go for one of the lesser options.
