Even in this economic culture of pushing subscriptions for everything, “Lifetime licenses,” or, “Lifetime purchases,” are universally agreed to mean one-time payments for software, support, and updates for the lifetime of the software.
That’s absolutely not what this is.
At best, SPAD is selling a 1 year license and you need to rebuy (resubscribe) each year so you can continue to get support if something breaks. At worst, you get 1 year of support for your lifetime license, and after that you’re on your own.
In no way, shape, or form, is that a lifetime license.
Imagine if buying FS24 only included 12 months of patches and updates. That’s insanity, and no one would buy it if that were the case.
