MSFS 2024 Physics Improvement Deep Dive, please

To the dev team(s),

Would you please post or share a physics deep-dive on whats new in 2024? I realize gathering the visuals can be time consuming, but so far the physics systems improvements have been a smaller part of the marketing push. For MSFS2020 we had several nice presentations that showed off CFD and other features, and it would be nice to have something for us to better anticipate how the improved flight dynamics will function.

I wasn’t planning on posting, but since the run-up to 2024 appears plane heavy, and career mode buzz abounds, it seemed like physics sizzle might not be given much presentation time.

I’d even settle for a super-dense blog post.

Looking forward to launch & good luck on your final sprints :muscle: !

I’m pretty sure the Devs don’t respond on these forums. We can speculate on the technology used as it’s state of the art, but probably not going to get more than the official announcements.

@ FerrusDude 2 video so far, there is another one, still searching.

He’s not asking for a response here. The team reads the forum, and he’s asking that they respond with physics related marketing content, not on the forum. This is the place to do that. Most definitely.

Precisely!

Thanks for the links @ExpressTomato52 ! Let’s pile the videos in this thread for all of us physics fans.

[edit] The topic I am most excited to learn more about is ground handling, takeoff/landing improvements. It seems like there has been progress here, just not a lot said about it.

Ground handeling have been changed, depend on the type of surface you are, not like before flat, even on water, you need to match wave height and direction to your landing and takeoff, or thigns will be harder to land\takeoff, not flat and easy like before regardless the surface you are on it.

Here a little one water and surface 33:40

I am definitely curious how the CFD near the ground will change crosswind takeoffs. I fly a lot of warbirds, and this might make takeoffs even more … spirited.
