After an update, I had been expecting to have to update the DLSS, by loading the sim, letting it update, letting it get to the main menu, closing the sim down, applying the new DLSS and starting the sim again.
However. it would appear that we are able to get DLSS Swapper to update the version, before the “sim already running” block comes into play, after the update has been applied. You’ll therefore be able to update the DLSS without having to go through process in my opening paragraph.
