Does anybody else experience this? I am just getting a blank screen when opening MSFS Addon Linker since this morning (on Windows 11):
Got this earlier as well… No fix, but a workaround: delete the msfs_addons_linker.ini file at the c:\programdata folder. It will reset your settings, including your window. Unfortunately haven’t found a better solution, since the problem comes back once in a while.
Edit: And instead of using the above workaround you can find a fixed exe here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/616752-addon-linker-stopped-working-m-resolved/
Thx, that fixed it! I could even partially remove the content of the file, and keep the first lines with folders settings.
It says that the file does not exist anymore and I can’t find the .exe anywhere else.
Then just use the previous solution of removing the .ini file mentioned (or remove at least part out of it with all the graphics settings, I kept the folder locations).
I ended up removing my install, downloading a new copy, and reinstalling.
I’m wondering if my problem is that sometimes I’m accessing my PC through MS Remote Desktop from a Mac?
Wiping out the .ini file does seem to fix it though. Just a hassle.
