I have this utility installed with the view to using it to only load what I want, I have watched every video on Youtube but none explain the question I am going to ask.
In the screenshot you will see my Addons structure, and the Aircraft folder has two further folder, Airbus and Boeing, as you can see there are aircraft not enabled, its a Red Dot. The question is why can’t I enable these?. Whats the isssue here?.
It would be great if you could right click on a red Dot and an explanation box popped up!!.

Do you have addons you try to select in your’e Community folder. Ifso then you can’t select them, only items outside the Community folder can be selected ( Linked ).

yes he has, it’s because he already has the real folder in the real community folder, so you can not create a link with the same name there, it’s not possible because the folder is already there. We can see this on the screenshot with, for example, the ‘b787_sp(rr)’ folder, you have it in your custom folder and you have it in the real community folder (the one with the light violet color). So if you want to link something, you need to remove it first from the real community folder.
Wow, that was a lightbulb moment, I see what your saying now, if the Addon is in Community Folder and in the Addons folder it will be Red Dot because by default its already enabled to load in ther Sim, yes?.
yes it’s correct, and it can never be enabled because the real folder is already there.
hi guys. does anyone know how to remove columns in the Addon Linker? most of them don’t show any useful information so I’d like to clean it up. i tried right clicking and choosing ‘column chooser’ but that only allows me to add columns as far as I can see.

Hello,
Just click on the column header, keep the mousebutton pressed and drag the column outside or inside the grid, you will see a X appearing, release the mouse and it will be removed. If you don’t want to see it again on the next restart, make sure you use the right click button option ‘save current column order/size’.
