after the new year update, it cause my msfs to stop responding whenever i start a flight in full screen mode…but in windowed mode it will fly smoothly without any lag…any one got the same issues? anyways to solve it…thanks
When it stops responding tty using Control+Alt+Delete then start task manager. This may get MSFS started again. I have this problem when using Chrome or other programs while MSFS is loading. Starting task manager kicks MSFS into life again. Once MSFS is going again close task manager. If it pauses again restart task manager.

It happened to me and the culprit was the fast mode that I enabled for vertical sync in the Nvidia 3D settings. Setting it back to “use 3D app setting” solved it.
Had been using fast for vertical sync, but disabled it recently and the problem persists.
the issues still persist even if i turn it off…
You might find that a “clean” install of the Nvidia drivers works after changing this setting. I’ve had a similar issue with this before and it seemed that the change in the settings wasn’t actually being picked up by the driver.
