MSFS and my Love-Hate relationship!

Since I purchased the Sim I’ve blown Hot and cold over it…screaming at the A320 and then bringing everyone in front of the screen to show off the amazing scenery. I’ve gone back to X-plane, but returned to MSFS for a visual high…it’s a bit like a drug in that respect.
OK, the ariliners and complex planes are bugged right now and I really want to fly them realistically, but now I finally realise that I will have to wait for that day to come. I’ll try and stay calm from now on, pick a basic non IFR plane like a Diamond DV20, take it up and just look around me! I did that today and I realise that just for that one purpose there is nothing that comes close to this sim.
I took off from Innsbruck VFR, live weather (beautiful) with ATC and flew up the valley to search for a small airport that I know called Kufstein-Langkampfen. I found it easily, landed on the grass strip and then flew back to Innsbruck and parked up back at the flight school. I was completely immersed with the eye candy that looked so realistic flying a simple trainer VFR only.
The sim to me is worth it for these experiences which we can have all over the world! I can’t wait for the airliners and complex systems to work, but in the meantime I have more love than hate for MSFS…Happy Flying!

To be fair I have the same love-hate relationship. The modelling of aircraft are poor, but the graphics are to be drooled over.

If you miss IFR flying, the TBM930 is mostly working (although the Garmin on it is still a bit crazy). Works well if you are careful though, and doing 300+ knots, it’s a good in-between until airliner flying becomes a reality again.
