Flight #9: The Low Road to Samarkand
In this week’s flight we take a tour through the mountains and valleys of Afganistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. We will follow the Surkhadnarya River into the Tajikistan capital city of Dushanbe, then into the beautiful Shirkent National Park and past the glacial peaks of Chimtarga. We will end the flight at Samarkand, one of the most important stops along the ancient Silk Road. See you there!
