MSFS crashes on NVIDIA 536.40 drivers!

Is your issue still gone? Sometimes you can do multiple flights before it randomly crashes. Mine started after recent update of the Sim only, tried latest GPU driver after and going to DX11, still getting crashes. Not messing about with a re-install, comps only a month old, MS cannot expect people to “try” a re-install every time their sim breaks, no issues with other games.

I did a 12 hour flight with no CTD latest drivers, DLSS - Quality mode, ultra settings.
Next day it started coming up with that nonsense error msg again about my GPU overheating corrupt drivers rubbish. I did no changes to my settings after the long completed flight so there you have it.

Fact: it is the sim they are doing something in the background maybe so its random you complete your flight. It is NOT YOUR RIG or install. If my other games which are more demanding on my CPU and GPU dnt crash means its a bug with the application.

THIS IS NOT SOLVED!!!

Today I tried everything again for eight hours all day, from top to bottom, all everything in the BIOS changed here changed there done reinstalled drivers, I really went through everything several times now and again, as I said, today for 8 hours Dedicated to the topic, I got myself a new CPU 5800 X3D and an RTX 4070 ti so that I can use the DLSS3 functions under DX12 for double the frame rate, it’s all ■■■■■■ up now and I’m very angry about it Money paid and I can only run DX11 DX12 when loading in the menu or just after the plane has loaded the computer crashes. Immediately off. CTD and I’m really really fed up, I’m ■■■■■■ off please Asobo Microsoft is doing something like that, it’s not possible. And it’s a pity that no one even commented on the matter or something like “It’s our turn, be patient” or something like that! Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing!!!

Ya its becoming a joke. I just built a new rig 13900K and 4090 64Gb DDR5 and same deal just CTD randomly in flight constantly.

I have reinstalled every driver the game Windows ETC still just crashes to desktop with no explanation. Sucks!

Same i recently upgraded my GPU from 3050 to RTX4090, i changed my CPU to AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor 3.40 GHz , I currently have 16.0 GB RAM twin 8GB and my motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M K . My virtual memory is set at automatically manage paging file. All drivers are up to date
Prior to my upgrade i have never had a crash before now i have it almost everyday i play. I have the LG C2 and i play at 3840 x 2160 res and ultra settings everything at TAA. I think my object level detail is 200. When i play properly it is usually at 60fps smooth.

The random crashes are annoying, the error i get in the event viewer is below and i get the same one everytime i crash.:
