Hello guys, i install this game a couple days ago and never concect to internet.
I uninstall and i try to install again and i stuck in !No internet connect-error"
Can someone help me? tks in advance.
I would check your internet connection when that comes up.
If you are using Wifi, I would recommend you to use a wired connection, use the cable. Wifi comes with lots of packet loss.
There re so many things it can be, it is hard to help. I presume that when that happens, you can still use your web browser and interact with web sites?
I’d wonder if you have multiple network adapters that you are unaware of, one of which MSFS2020 is seeing and using it as the default route.
Or, it wouldn’t surprise me if it is just a windows store problem. I’ve never regarded the windows store as being a reliable software delivery/management service. One of the reasons windows “metro” apps never really took off. I stopped using windows native apps years ago, and this is the biggest reason. Too much time spent troubleshooting why windows store won’t install/update, gets stuck, etc.
Was really surprised to see in 2020 they still deliver software this way and it still sucks. Just the other day I had to spend time on windows store not installing/updating, and and ran the windows store troubleshooter/fixer and rebooted and all is well.
Anyways, back on topic here… if you are sure windows store is working and able to download/install/update other things through that mechanism, and still can’t get msfs2020 to install, and you are sure that your Internet is working and your PC is healthy from a network perspective, you might want to install and run the XBox companion app.
Use that app and look at the settings, and you will see some buttons to test network, test multiplayer, test NAT, test speed, etc. Run all those tests and see if it reports any problems.
Also, report back here with detailed steps you’ve done and things you’ve tried.
It might be a name resolution issue, and flushing DNS cache might help.
Mine installed correctly
Run Windows trouble shoot on the WiFi your using and select “Fix” if offered. It probably will reset your WiFi adapter and restart computer? No guarantee’s…
I am losing internet all the time and I have a 1G wired connection that has FTTH and never operates below 880M up and down. What’s up??
