Goodmorning everyone. Today I tried to start MSF2020 like I do every day. But it gives me this error: “Your pc doesn’t have the minimum requirements”. And it stays with black screen for 10 minutes. My components are:
Intel 15 9400F updated to the latest drivers available
Nvidia GTX 1660TI updated to the latest drivers available
-16 GB of ram
-Space available on 500 GB hard disk
I don’t know what to list yet. As mentioned before, I regularly started the game without any problems. Thank you all.
My system does not meet the minimum requirement but works fine on Medium graphics and 1280 x 720p screen resolution. The FPS varies between 8 and 15, depending whats going on.
I have NO separate graphics card and AMD 5400G (which includes graphics on the chip) and 16GB of 2666 RAM.
As one would expect I always get the message about min requirements which is fair enough.
What I wonder is whether the powers that be have updated their min requirements to reflect improvements in the software performance since the original version OR whether the minimum requirements should be more nuanced by stating minimum requirements for different levals of game play and graphics performance.
I have seen comments that imply that many people expect FPS to be far higher than is actually needed.
From what I have seen in the game from trying higher graphics/screen res and getting what I accept was too low FPS is that the FPS gets “too low” to play the game at somewhere between 5 and 10; however you can see when you watch YouTube videos reviewing Graphics cards that the Gaming community seems to expect FPS levals in the 50 to 150 range and does not even dare to discuss using lower screen resolutions and Graphics settings because thats not what reviews of new hardware is about.
Meanwhile not everyone wants to use a computer that producses as much CO2 and costs as much as seems to be required by this generation of games at the FPS rates that some people imply are “needed”.
I get that blank black screen as well but after a minute or two all loads OK.
I have all SSDs for all three of my drives that fs uses, (Windows Drive C:, the fs folder on Drive E: and the cache on drive G:. Do you have all SSDs?
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I still can’t open the game. After the error “Your computer does not meet the requirements” I can go ahead, install the game but then BOOM black screen and it doesn’t go on. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
