MSFS freezes on update window or splash screen

Brief description of the issue:

I try to launch msfs in admin or regular mode. and it brings up blackshark.ai screen and music, then goes to glider screen flying then sometimes to the update screen and freezes there (I left it for the whole day and it did nothing) you cant click on anything. In task manager it is using .5 in the cpu and doesn’t change. you have to force end task in task manager. now it gets to a screen that says safe mode or regular mode. sometimes I can click on either and it hangs right after with the same info in task manager and left all day and still nothing. I have updated everything on my computer which runs everything else just fine even X-plane 11-12. I have also signed out of xbox on my pc and MS Store restarted my computer and still get the same results.

Okay new update. When I tried to open it again it came up with a new window that said it needed updated, it did that update and now will open but all the menus don’t open and my plane is pink and squared out… It also does not matter what plane I choose. I found steps to remove some app data and rolling cash from directory’s with no help. Please help me what can I do. Do I need to fully erase the sim? I would hate to do that and loose all my setting s and hours flown.

Those coloured squares are usually livery related.

Remove all third party livery addons you might have, usually Community ones rather than Marketplace ones.

I don’t have any these are the stock planes. I will look again, I’m pretty sure I only have official planes bought from the in game marketplace.

the only ones I can find are in the official-one store folder, I don’t have anything in my community folder. In the aircraft folder are only planes bought from the online store.
