MSFS has me looking to the sky more

For real!

These last few weeks i have caught myself frequently ‘cloud watching’, issues aside it has made me appreciate the at times beautiful in game weather system.

Earlier today locally we had a building storm, clouds like mountains and man it was close to some things iv seen in game.

Thanks Asobo

Same here, I find myself always comparing weather outside to the weather in the game and every now and then it’s very close and that’s always a very cool experience.

I started doing this also when I took my PPL long time ago

Now MSFS makes me look at the sky (and scanning the horizon for features) much more again! Funny how one thing can impact others

I seriously considered becoming a meteorologist at one time. Flying the sim and seeing the clouds is just pure icing on the cake for me.

I flew around in hurricane Delta yesterday and the 40+ knot winds were fun! The sim did a fairly good job of creating an eye to the storm even though it didn’t ever become really pronounced. Like Windy.com satellite view, it was spot on!

I’m very conflicted. I’m an astrophotographer, so clouds are a BAAAAAD thing for me. I always want the clearest skies possible. Yet, I love clouds in this sim. And I’m also looking up during the day admiring clouds.
