Whenever i open MSFS i have an infinite “decompressing” message, i dont know what to do.

ive found this extremely strange file, tried deleting it but came back when i reopened sim
Mine is eternal looping also, any solutions?

it looped about 5 times and then finished.

Yes, it looped for sometime, and then all of a sudden it worked.

Throwing my hat into the ring also. Mine usually transfers at 32 or so Mbits but tonight 3.5 and looping. Now on 4/4 download… fingers crossed.
Anyone know what this update consists of?

i think you can check release notes by pressing v, also any updates on how yours went / is going?
my reinstall is at 24/124 gb now, 100 to go!
Done mate, took about 20 mins for me. I’ve checked the notes but they still reference the last AAU from what I can see. Hope yours is done soon, on the bright side, at least it gives it a clear out.

thats very true, i have never uninstalled the game unlike many. so i think it deserved a reset, maybe also fix some performance issues ive been having. im 80% now
I only had one loop and only had to download about 250MB.

It didn’t address anything that needed to be fixed. Many things still broken.
Could this be due to server issues/slow internet speeds on the Microsoft end???
I tried downloading the update yesterday and I was getting only about 2.5 to 5.5mbs. Gave up and updated today. The speed still wasn’t great but a bit better than last night and I managed to download it in around 45mins/1 hour.

im not sure as yesterday / day before was the time i was redownloading msfs, and it was at 70-90mbps
