Hi,
I’m also recently retired, but spent a career in electronics then software.
For info, how many monitors physically plug into your 4070?
Start with easy steps - can you manually press Right Alt and pop out the PFD, then drag it to an alternate monitor?
If you can then POPM should work. It feels complex because it automates many small and repetitive details that you would have to do manually.

Paul, quick question: How do you delete panels? I click on “Delete Panel”, nothing happens. The panel(s) stay on the second monitor and I can’t get rid of them.
Thanks for help (again)

Paul, I got it. Just retart MSFS gets rid of the displays.
Anyone know how I get rid of the taskbar on the second display only?
If you mean the Windows task bar, that usually goes on the primary display. Check the NVIDIA control panel → Multiple Monitor Layout.
Right click on the monitor you want to be primary.:
Which aircraft is this, and is the electrical power on? In some aircraft, pop-outs won’t start working until the power is on. Weird, I know, but if you try to right-alt + click on the glass with the power off, nothing will happen, and POPM can’t pop them out either (this is why there’s a setting to power-on before popping out and power-off afterwards that you can turn on). Not sure which aircraft this applies to now, but the FSR 500 is one of them, for example.
So, power up your aircraft and manually position the cursor over a glass display, hold down right-alt and left-click; does that work? Do you get a popped-out window? If it does, then it’s not a sim problem, it’s something else.
Or, if you mean that you currently have the taskbar on all your displays, there’s a setting in Personalisation > Taskbar in Windows 10 and Windows 11 for ‘Show my taskbar on all displays’ which will be on. Turn this off and the taskbar will only display on the primary monitor, and you can set which one that is as @TaurineCorn668 explained above.
Here is a screen shot of the error. Using the Citation Longitude and is fully powered up. I completely removed the popout program ran a registry cleaner and reinstalled plus reboot.
First - can you pop out panels manually? We need to know this to help.
Second - can you post a shot of the virtual cockpit in the correct view with the circle indicating the source point for the panel showing? It should be a green or red circle.
Right ALT + left click does nothing
OK. When you hover the mouse over the glass and hold down right-alt, does the cursor change to a magnifying glass? Given your previous answer I suspect the answer is ‘no’ but I need to check.
If not, then right-alt might either a) not be working properly on your keyboard (this is not unheard of) or somehow on your system the key binding has been changed. I can’t offhand remember the setting name and I don’t have access to the sim right now. Check if your keyboard profile in controls has changed - you can have multiple profiles for the keyboard just like any other device. It should say ‘default’.
Once we get right-alt + click working, then POPM should just work, because under the hood what it’s doing is simulating that key + click event.
Edit: which panel in the Longitude are you trying to get to pop out, BTW?
here it is and no to the magnifying glass
Thanks. So yes, that’s the reason POPM isn’t working, because right-alt + click isn’t working. So checking the key binding is job #1 now.
Edit: if you ‘search by input’ on the Controls page, you should be able to hit right-alt to see if it’s bound to anything. If I remember / find out what the setting name is, I’ll edit this post again to put it here.
Edit: got it! It’s Controls → Misc → New UI Window Mode. Check if this is bound to any key and which one.
You’re on the Mouse device there. Switch to the Keyboard device in the top bar and see if there are keyboard bindings.
My bad and had to wait 3 minutes lol
OK. So there’s the problem. Re-bind right-alt in the keyboard profile (you’re on ‘Short Keyboard’ which is a non-standard profile so you might be missing other keys) and it should all work now… hopefully

It worked. You guys are awesome. Switching to default keyboard was all i had to do.
As my Grandmother used to say “all’s well that ends well”!
BTW Short keyboards look useful, about 315mm wide - they don’t have a numeric pad (that most of us never use)
Hi, I have a similar problem in that the POM works fine, however the key combo right ALT and left mouse click does not popout the panel. I checked the right ALT keybind and it is correct: Miisc > New UI WIndow Mode. I know it worked since I had the MCDU popped out. Does r/h ALT+left mouse click popout the selected panel in its present size? When I used it before it popped out as a strip and I had to resize it.
Thanks for help
