Hello,
I have a video of the problem, but I can’t post the link here, because it’s forbidden by the rules of this forum. I attached a screenshot of the Settings tab.
I think I should mention that I had a problem with MSFS before (Microsoft Store MSFS) - every axis would shake like crazy when pulled more than 50%. But I could still kinda play the simulator, because it was avoidable by trimming the plane. My Xbox Game Pass expired, so I bought the simulator on Steam. I was happy, because I didn’t have the shaking problem anymore, but I got this rudder inverting problem, with this rudder problem, the simulator literally unusable, because the rudder goes basically only to the left. Note that none of these problems weren’t happening in the MSFS Settings tab, nor FSX or any other application. This problem specifically occurs only inside MSFS, and not even in Settings, but only in-game.
I have also tried:
Separating the axis -> binding the left and right Z axis separately, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on it.
I definitely have the right binding, because the rudder axis has the same binding to it in FSX, and it doesn’t invert or behave erratically in general in any other application. As I mentioned earlier, every axis works normally in the settings.
Conclusion:
Do I need to buy a new joystick / yoke, or is it fixable?
