Curious if anybody knows if you have the Steam version of MSFS and some sceneries purchased via the Marketplace and then install a non Steam version of MSFS, are your Marketplace purchases intact, or are they tied to Steam?
Also, any Canadians able to tell me, do you get charged tax for Marketplace purchases made for the non Steam version of the sim?
u need to understand that the difference is just the installer which u get from steam or ms store, after that all runs on the same MSFS downloader …

I live in Edmonton. You are charged GST on your purchases, however I can’t answer if PST is also charged as we have no PST tax.
