The sim is stuck on the checking for update screen

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

For me I’ve just been launching the sim.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

I7 10700, 32GM Ram, ASUS 3060TI, and a Z590 AORUS MASTER

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

1.37.19.0

Disable network drivers yes. I still shouldn’t have to do that even after reinstalling the game.

I had this a few days back, and gave up on it for the evening. The next day it worked perfectly, and I didn’t need to do anything. The sim gods are fickle.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it. After it worked before installing all the world updates etc. It just started acting stupid again. I am able to bypass the update screen by disabling internet drivers but I can’t go into the marketplace in the sim. I know it’s not my internet I have 100MB Download and 30MB Upload.
