I hear you and certainly would not disagree. Seriously, though, I am really quite at a loss as to exactly what the current method is.
Is it simply just a tally of the vote count for each issue that determines the priorities for fixes?
I honestly can’t believe that!!
I sincerely hope that those numbers are being presented to us primarily for the sake of interest, you know?
“Misery loves company”, so to speak and I am strongly inclined to believe that the bug status lists are more of an appeasement/reference tool for us simmers, rather than a real drop-dead, priority list that drives the developers daily to-do actions.
At least I hope so…
