No. My wishlist item is that they add VFR waypoints to the nav database, so that those waypoints are available to the GPS navigators in the game (e.g. GNS530). Waypoints like “VPLMS” (and thousands more VFR waypoints like it) are not currently in the game’s nav database.
Several individuals responding to this question have asserted that VFR points are only relevant for flight planning purposes, some even claiming real-life piloting experience. This assertion is concerning; if true, it suggests a significant misunderstanding of VFR protocols. VFR pilots consistently communicate their positions by referencing VFR points during radio calls, especially in proximity to uncontrolled aerodromes. Such references are not just advisable but critical, as lives may depend on this information. Mentioning IFR points, on the other hand, is nonsensical for VFR pilots, as it’s unlikely they would recognize or understand such references. In practice, most VFR pilots would be unable to ascertain your location if you mentioned an IFR point.
Unfortunately, waypoints set in LNM are not trensferred to MSFS if VFR plan…
I think the main problem is neither Navblu or Jeppesen have worldwide coverage of VFR reporting points.
