I haven’t played for a few months as I’ve been moving to a new location. When I got here, I started MSFS and updated just fine (update 9, I believe… it was at very beginning of July). I have not tried to play since until today. Now absolutely nothing will get the game to launch. Clicking the game icon does nothing. Clicking play in the MS game store does nothing. In the game store for the premium deluxe edition (which I own), it says to ‘Install from Xbox app’. When I click on that it takes me to the Xbox app and the premium deluxe version of the game, and says that I own it. When I click on the play button there, nothing happens. Any ideas on how to get into the game?
If you haven’t played for that long, I would first assure Windows is current in its updates. Then restart the PC. Then check that all apps in the MS Store is current. Then restart the PC again. Then check the Xbox app for any game updates. Sometimes after MSFS has downloaded its main installer, another PC restart should be done.
