MSFS won't start after a system restore

Not sure if this is the correct category for this.
I had some PC issues and had to do a system restore and after that MSFS gives me the attached error message and I am at a loss as to what it means.

“No applicable app licenses found” How can I reapply my license?
MSFS Start Error

This is the correct category

  • Make sure all your apps in the Microsoft Store are up to date

  • Try logging out and logging back into the Xbox app

Thanks for your reply.
All my apps in the MS store are up to date.
I did log out of Xbox and back in but had the same problem.

What I just found out is if I run MSFS from Xbox it loads no problem. But from the exe file or from FSUIPC it gives that error.
It’s almost as if there is something corrupted in the desktop application???

At least 1 step forward. I don’t know why the issue when starting from the .exe and FSUIPC. Let’s wait for support from the community.

Could be an .exe location change from the original to “C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content”, if so then edit or create shortcuts to the new address and reinstall any MSFS dependent apps.

I have resolved this issue by reinstalling many dependency files. All is now good.

Turns out the problem still exists - going to uninstall and reinstall MSFS
