Tried to open it this morning and after the few splash screens, I get to the southwest USA wallpaper and the wheel in the bottom right keeps spinning. Any idea why/how to fix? I tried to paste a screenshot of where it keeps spinning. Thanks
Mine did the same. Went into MS security/updates section. There were updates available and once done, msfs loaded as usual.
Hi, I presume it usually launches ok? Some say they’ve had server connection issues lately. Maybe that has something to do with it. I take it your internet is up & running.
I think I read somewhere… go into the MS Store and try launching MSFS from there. I’m sure I read that this fixed it for someone else.
Worth a try at least.
Another possibility… do you have an anti virus program or firewall that could be blocking it & preventing it from connecting to the servers?

Steve
Probably a dumb question but how do I get to the MS Security/updates section? I shut firewall and antivirus and that didn’t help - same issue.
Left click on MS start icon (lower left corner of desktop). Click on settings. Click on security/updates. Keep flicking screens to get to updates, then click on updates.
you can also just type ‘update’ in the search box in the task bar, best match should come up with ‘check for updates’, click that one.
I had this. Go into task manager and close down all cases of xbox. Reboot oc and log back into games pass. If thats what you have. If not close down any steam apps.
Thanks all. Windows updates seems to have done the trick. Really appreciate it
