MSFS-2020 Cessna Longitude,
Issue: Reverse throttle stopped working after mandatory update was installed around 6 Aug 2025.
Detail: The “reverse throttle toggle” is activate/works, the engine housing deploys to the “drag break” position. However, once in the reverse configuration, the throttle only climbs to about 39% max even though I commanded 100%. As a result, there is no “breaking” action because there is not enough power/throttle.
This is on a PC using a throttle quadrant (Virpil). The setup worked for years with many updates until the Aug 6th mandatory update.
Troubleshooting attempts: Cleared and reprogramed Virpil. Cleared and reprogrammed anything to do with throttle. No changes
Disconnected Virpil. Tried to move throttle to 100% with mouse while in Reverse Throttle active. The throttle only budged the 39%, can’t get the throttle handle to go any further down even though I can see the additional 70% of throttle still available.
Uninstalled the Microsoft Cessna Longitude Enchantment update. No Change
Reinstalled the Microsoft Cessna Longitude Enhancement update. No change
Anyone with any thoughts on what else I can do, test, attempt without reinstalling the entire simulator, again??
