MSFS2020 running issue

Hi guys, I have a question about MSFS2020. I just bought a new laptop, the Dell XPS 15 7590 and installed MSFS2020 standard edition on it. The specs of my laptop should be good enough to properly run the game, but I was disappointed to see how laggy/delayed the game was running. I switched the game to medium graphics and I switched off the online data use, but nothing changed. Is there anything I can do to make sure the game will run optimally, or is my laptop simply too weak?

I think your laptop will have a problem rendering the simulator to its 4K display. Try lowering the resolution or reducing the screen scaling.
