So when I click on the MSFS shortcut, it opens the Microsoft store, goes to gaming services and shows already installed? WTH? It was working earlier but I haven’t used it in a while as I’ve been building my motion cockpit. Even before it always opened the MS store but let me launch MSFS2020 from the store! THis is the non steam MS store PC version. I’m confused how this program launches???
It means you have pending updates INSIDE MS-Store. Click on the hamburger menu in MS-Store and run the Check for Updates function.
This can happen if the ‘Gaming Services’ service isn’t running. Double check Task Manager > Services (or services.msc).
